The Office of the Vice President, Research and Innovation established a two-campus approach for the UBC Public Humanities Hubs: one on UBC-Vancouver campus (that’s us!) and one at UBC-Okanagan. We have similar mandates, but we offer different programs and serve different campuses and communities in British Columbia. Interested to see what the Public Humanities look like in the Okanagan Valley? Please visit the UBC-O Public Humanities Hub.

The UBC-V Public Humanities Hub is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkwəy̓əm) people. The land it is situated on has always been a place of learning for the Musqueam, who for millennia have passed on their culture, history, and traditions from one generation to the next on this site.
